HOBOKEN, NJ – Hoboken authorities took one man into custody after the suspect hit several parked vehicles and fled the scene on Sunday, according to Patch.com.
The Morristown man was driving while intoxicated and carrying open containers in his vehicle when he crashed into several parked cars on 8th Street and 9th Street. He drove away in his badly damaged car that was “missing wheels” but eventually bailed out of the vehicle and continued to run on foot.
Police apprehended the 24-year-old, John Limato, in the 200 block of Jackson Street. He has been taken into custody and charged for reckless driving, DWI, possession of open containers, leaving the scene of an accident, and improper use of alcohol.
No one was injured in the incident.
