EAST ORANGE, NJ – One person was killed and another left critically injured after a two-vehicle crash in Essex County early Sunday morning, according to local news sources.
According to Chief Assistant Prosecutor of the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office, Thomas Fennelly, the wreck occurred around 6:00am in the intersection of Freeway Drive and South Harrison Street in East Orange, involving a passenger vehicle and a tanker truck. The driver of the passenger vehicle was transported to the hospital with critical injuries, while a passenger in the vehicle died at the scene.
