1 Killed in Single-Vehicle Collision on NJ-24 in Springfield

SPRINGFIELD, NJ- One victim was killed at the scene of a crash on NJ-24 in Springfield early Friday, according to local media sources.

At approximately 1:16am, officials responded to reports of a collision near milepost 10 of the NJ-24 highway. A Mazda 3 veered offroad while traveling towards I-78 and hit the guardrail. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
