GARFIELD, NJ- One victim was transported to an area hospital after being struck by a train over the weekend in Garfield, according to Daily Voice.
At approximately 8:50pm, a NJ Transit train heading from Hoboken to Waldwick struck a 21-year-old near the Plauderville station in Garfield. The train, Bergen County Line 1883, hit Nassir K. Essery and he was subsequently transported to Hackensack University Medical Center.
Approximately 60 people were on board at the time and no injuries were reported.
