SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ (MIDDLESEX COUNTY) – At least one person was killed and possibly two others were severely injured following a car accident early this morning on I-287 in Middlesex County, according to a report by RLS Media.
The accident occurred in South Plainfield, near Durham Avenue at about 12:25 a.m. when at least one vehicle crashed and trapped multiple occupants inside the wreckage.
One person died at the scene.
Authorities believe that up to two other people were critically and severely injured.
The identities of the victims and the cause of the crash have not yet been released.
The accident remains under investigation at this time.
