One Dead, One Injured After Tree Fell and Struck Vehicle

MORRISTOWN, NJ- Two vehicles were struck by a fallen tree in Morristown on Wednesday morning, killing one, according to local news sources.

At approximately 7:34am, a driver in a Nissan Murano and one other vehicle were struck by a tree on Mendham Road. One driver was transported to Morristown Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead shortly after. The driver of the other vehicle suffered non life-threatening injuries.
