One Dead in Crash on New Jersey Turnpike

KEARNY, NJ- A crash between a vehicle and a tractor trailer killed one on the New Jersey Turnpike in Kearny on Monday, according to Daily Voice.

At approximately 2:00pm, a sedan and a tractor trailer crashed, wedging the sedan underneath. A bystander intervened to attempt to extricate and save the sedan driver, but the driver was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after. The collision occurred near milepost 108.1.
