One Dead, Eight Injured After Vehicle Strikes NJ Transit Bus

NEWARK, NJ- A car collided head-on into a NJ Transit bus early Tuesday, killing one and injuring eight, according to ABC 7 NY.

At approximately 5:30am, a vehicle turned the wrong way onto Hawthorne Avenue and hit a bus directly. The driver of the car was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident, while the bus driver and seven other bus passengers were injured. The bus driver and three other passengers of the injured were hospitalized.
