One critically injured after crash in Toms River

TOMS RIVER, NJ- A woman was critically injured after a crash with a garbage truck in Toms River on Tuesday morning, according to Daily Voice.

The collision happened at approximately 7:40am, when a driver failed to stop at a stop sign and collided with a garbage truck in the intersection of Garfield Avenue and Windsor Avenue. The driver was not wearing a seat belt, and was subsequently critically injured in the crash. She was then transported by officials to Jersey Shore Medical Center.
