JERSEY CITY, NJ- According to NJ.com, officials are beginning to investigate a 3-vehicle crash that critically injured one person and damaged eight cars on Saturday in Jersey City.
At approximately 6:20pm, officials say a Mercedes Benz collided with a Toyota Highlander on Kennedy Boulevard, between Hague Street and Leonard Street. Due to the collision, a 44-year-old passenger in the Highlander was ejected from the vehicle and critically injured. A Nissan Maxima was also struck in the collision, as well as five unoccupied parked cars. The passenger and driver of the Highlander, as well as the driver of the Mercedes, were all transported to Jersey City Medical Center for treatment.
No charges have been filed at this time. This accident is still under investigation. We will be monitoring for updates.
