ELIZABETH, NJ – A police officer was injured in a car accident with another vehicle in Elizabeth on Saturday night, according to RLS Media.
A driver lost control and crashed into the back of a patrol vehicle near the Newark International Airport at about 8:35 p.m.
One of the officers in the patrol car sustained an injury to his knee in the accident and taken to an area hospital for treatment. Thankfully, the injury was not considered life-threatening and no other injuries were reported.
