NY man dies after crashing with truck in Old Bridge

MONMOUTH COUNTY, NJ – A New York man was killed after crashing his vehicle with a tractor-trailer in Old Bridge Township on Thursday morning.

According to Daily Voice, James Marshall, 43, was driving on Route 9 south when he rear-ended a tractor-trailer near Schulmeister Road at about 1:45 a.m. The Staten Island man died in the crash.

The truck driver, a 43-year-old from Perth Amboy, did not sustain any serious injuries in the crash.

Police are seeking more information about the accident for an ongoing investigation. Witnesses are asked to reach out to the Old Bridge Police Department.
