MORRIS TOWNSHIP, NJ- One person was injured Monday morning after being hit by a train on the NJ Transit Morris and Essex rail service, according to NJ.com.
The person was hit by the train by the Convent Station in Morris township. Train 6602, due to arrive into Penn Station New York at 5:44am, was cancelled because of the accident. According to transit officials, Morris and Essex rail line service was halted in both directions between Summit and Dover, but resumed normally around 6:00am.
