According to a local news report, the 44-year-old man was driving a 2003 Cadillac Escalade at high speeds on Route 202 when he crashed into a stopped 2015 Ford F-150 near the intersection with First Avenue at about 6:15 p.m. The impact pushed the pickup into a 2020 Kia that was also stopped.
The Escalade’s driver, Casildo Pena, was arrested for drunk driving after showing signs of intoxication.
The driver and passenger of the pickup truck, a 71-year-old man and his 66-year-old wife, were both injured. They were transported to an area hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
