NEWARK, NJ – At least one person was injured in a car accident on US1&9 in Newark on Wednesday morning, according to 511 New Jersey.
The accident happened at about 7:30 a.m. in the local southbound lanes near Delancey Street.
At least one person sustained injuries from the crash. Further information on the condition of the involved parties has not been released.
The right southbound lane was closed for over an hour while authorities worked at the scene.
