New Jersey motorcycle accident leaves 2 men seriously hurt

BYRAM TOWNSHIP, NJ – Two men were hospitalized after the motorcycles they were riding collided in New Jersey Saturday night, according to NJHerald.com.

Police say the men were thrown from the motorcycles and were found shortly after 10 p.m. in the roadway of Lynn Drive in Byram Township. The riders, Joseph Hill of Byram and Kashmeer Ramirez of Stanhope, both sustained serious injuries and were taken to Morristown Medical Center.

According to investigators, the men were riding on their motorcycles when they crashed into each other. They were not breathing and were in and out of consciousness when first responders arrived on the scene, police said.  The cause of the accident is not yet known.

Lynn Drive is located within the Forest West section of Byram Township.  It is a residential, unmarked roadway.

Along with local authorities, the New Jersey State Police Fatal Accident Investigation Unit also responded.
