MONMOUTH COUNTY, NJ – A two-car accident on Route 35 in Neptune City left one person dead and one person injured on Sunday morning.
According to Nj.com, a driver was southbound on Route 35 when he was struck by another driver at about 2 a.m. near where the roadway crosses the Shark River.
The identity of the man who died as a result of the crash is still being withheld. The condition of the other involved victims has not been released.
The crash is under investigation by the Monmouth County authorities.
