SOUTH HACKENSACK, NJ – A motorcyclist was hospitalized after colliding with a Mini Cooper on I-80 late last night, according to sources at RLS Media.
The accident happened on eastbound I-80, near milepost 66.8, at 10:12 p.m., when a Yahama motorcycle and a Mini Cooper collided.
The motorcyclist was ejected from the vehicle during the crash and was taken to the hospital with severe injuries.
The other driver was not reported as injured.
Authorities closed down the eastbound lanes of the highway for about three hours as they investigated the crash. Their efforts continue at this time.
