LAWRENCE TOWNSHIP, NJ (CUMBERLAND COUNTY) – A motorcyclist was killed in an accident in Cumberland County early yesterday morning, according to NJ.com.
The accident happened on Schaffer Avenue in Lawrence Township, which is located in South Jersey, about 7 miles southeast of Bridgeton, at 6:40 a.m.
A motorcyclist went off the side of the roadway and collided with a tree.
The operator, who was not immediately identified, died at the scene.
Schaffer Ave was closed for about three hours as authorities worked the accident. Their investigation continues at this time.
