UNION COUNTY, NJ – A motorcyclist was injured on Interstate 78 in Union Township when they lost control of their bike on Sunday afternoon.
According to RLS Media, the rider was headed west on I-78 when they lost control of their Suzuki and ran off the freeway near milepost 52 at about 4:40 p.m. The bike collided with more than one large traffic cone on the righthand shoulder before overturning.
The victim was ejected and seriously injured. They were transported to an area hospital.
The accident is still under investigation.
