FORT LEE, NJ- A 44-year-old motorcyclist was ejected and injured by a vehicle that fled the scene on Route 1 on Sunday afternoon, reports Daily Voice.
At approximately 2:30pm, the motorcyclist, a resident of Greenwood Lake, lost control of his 2004 Suzuki and was ejected from the bike while heading north on Route 1. Emergency Medical Services and Fort Lee Police responded to the incident, and the motorcyclist was hospitalized with moderate injuries.
It is believed that the accident was caused by a gray SUV that fled the scene after the incident. Police are still looking for the driver of the SUV involved in the accident. We are monitoring for updates.
