COLONIA, NJ – A motorcyclist was killed when he crashed into a vehicle in Woodbridge Wednesday night, patch.com reported.
Police say 24-year-old Samuel Naranjo-Perez of Elizabeth was riding on St. Georges Avenue at North Hill Road on the Avenel/Colonia border at 7 p.m.
A woman driving a Ford Explorer SUV was waiting to make a left turn into a McDonald’s when Naranjo-Perez crashed into the back of her vehicle, investigators said.
Naranjo-Perez, who was riding a 2020 Ducati motorcycle, sustained critical injuries and was transported from the scene by a State Police helicopter. He was pronounced dead on arrival at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick.
The driver of the SUV, a 47-year-old Avenel woman, suffered minor injuries. Police say no charges are pending against her.
