GALLOWAY TOWNSHIP, NJ – A 34-year-old motorcyclist was killed after crashing into a USPS mail truck in South Jersey yesterday afternoon, according to NJ.com.
The accident occurred in Galloway Township, on the White Horse Pike, near Upas Avenue, at about 3 p.m.
34-year-old Galloway Township resident Michael P. Giannetta, operating a Suzuki GSX motorcycle, collided with the driver’s side of a Ford USPS mail truck that was making a left turn.
Giannetta was ejected from the motorcycle and was taken to the hospital. He later died there.
The driver of the truck, a 49-year-old woman from Egg Harbor Township, sustained non-critical wounds in the crash.
The accident remains under investigation at this time.
