BURLINGTON COUNTY, NJ – A motorcycle accident in Southampton took the life of a 30-year-old man Thursday night, according to Daily Voice.
The accident victim, Cain Delucca, riding a Yamaha R6 motorcycle struck an empty horse trailer pulled by a Chevrolet Silverado at about 8:01 p.m. Delucca was northbound on Red Lions Road near its intersection with Hillard Bridge Road when the accident happened.
Delucca was taken by helicopter to Cooper University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The pickup’s driver, 31-year-old Melissa Duran, and her passenger were not injured in the accident.
No tickets have been issued at this time and a preliminary investigation showed that that the truck came to a full stop before turning left from Red Lion Road onto Hillard Bridge Road.
