GLOUCESTER COUNTY, NJ – A woman’s car tumbled down an embankment when she suffered a medical episode as she pulled up to her Washington Township home Tuesday.
According to Daily Voice, the woman was turning into her Woodfield Avenue driveway when she suffered a medical episode behind the wheel of her 2012 Infiniti at about 8 p.m. Her vehicle hit one of the other cars in the driveway then went over the embankment, which ends about 15 feet down in Masquapsink Brook.
Thankfully, the woman’s vehicle got caught on a tree and did not land in the water.
The 65-year-old woman was extricated and taken to an area hospital. Her injuries were not considered serious and she is expected to make a recovery.
