NEWARK, NJ – A man suffered burns to his face when an oxygen tank exploded in Newark yesterday morning, according to the Hackensack Daily Voice.
The accident occurred in the 60 block of Mount Pleasant Avenue just after 8 a.m., when a man lit a cigarette while oxygen was being given.
The tank exploded, leaving him with facial burns.
The victim, whose identity has yet to be released, was taken to the hospital for treatment.
