UPPER PITTSGROVE TOWNSHIP, NJ – Authorities are trying to track down a Hackensack man in connection with a fatal 2019 crash in Salem County, wpgtalkradio.com reports.
New Jersey State Police say 47-year-old Robert Gunn Jr. was driving drunk when he got into the accident on County Route 635 in Upper Pittsgrove Township on September 28.
According to investigators, Gunn was driving a Dodge Ram 3500 north when he entered the southbound lanes and crashed head-on into a Hyundai Elentra occupied by 51-year-old Polly Tornari and 52-year-old Robert Tornari, both of Glassboro.
Polly was pronounced dead at the scene and Robert was hospitalized with serious injuries.
Gunn was believed to have been under the influence and was charged with vehicular homicide, but he last seen in February in Arizona. He is well-known in the boxing industry, according to police. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact the New Jersey State Police.
