KNOWLTON TOWNSHIP, NJ (WARREN COUNTY) – A motorcyclist was killed after colliding with an SUV in Warren County yesterday, according to NJ.com.
The accident occurred near Knowlton Township on Route 46, near milepost 2.6, at about 5:52 p.m., when the operator of a Nissan Pathfinder slowed down and attempted to make a left turn.
37-year-old Lake Hopatcong man Joshua Valentine, operating a Harley-Davidson motorcycle, went into the left lane and collided with the driver’s side of the SUV. The motorcycle rolled over, causing Valentine to be ejected from the vehicle.
Valentine, who was wearing a helmet, died at the scene.
The driver of the Nissan sustained minor injuries in the crash.
Authorities continue to investigate the accident at this time.
