PATERSON, NJ – A man was hospitalized after he was hit by a commuter train on the night of May 17, the Daily Voice reports.
The Main Line #1732 train struck the man just west of the Paterson train station shortly before 10 p.m.
Authorities said they were able to extricate the man from under the train and transported him to St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center
The occupants in the train were not injured and traffic was not delayed.
The incident is still under investigation by the New Jersey transit police.
