PARSIPPANY-TROY HILLS, NJ (MORRIS COUNTY) – A driver suffered severe wounds after colliding with an ambulance and multiple trees in Morris County yesterday, according to NJ.com.
The collision occurred on I-280 near New Road at about 3 p.m., when a 29-year-old man from West Orange sideswiped an ambulance.
He then went off the side of the highway and crashed into multiple trees before being ejected from the vehicle.
The driver, who has yet to be publicly identified, was taken to the hospital with serious wounds.
The occupants of the ambulance were not reported as injured.
Authorities continue to investigate the accident at this time.
