MIDDLETOWN, NJ – A Middletown man was dragged and injured when he tried to stop thieves from stealing his car on May 9, according to reports.
Police received a 911 call reporting a car theft at 5:37 p.m. on Windermere Road in the Lincroft section.
The homeowner became aware of the theft while it was in progress and attempted to stop the suspect by pulling on the driver’s side door.
The suspect began to drive off, which resulted in the man being dragged and suffered minor injuries.
The stolen vehicle is a white 2019 Land Rover Range Rover.
