BERKELEY, NJ – A man was ejected and killed when his car crashed with a utility pole in Berkeley on Sunday afternoon, according to a local news story.
Tracy Peirce crashed his Ford Mustang in the 100 block of Westbrook Drive at about 1 p.m. The vehicle struck a utility pole, ejecting Peirce, and ended up on the front lawn of a residence.
The 59-year-old victim received CPR and was transported to a local hospital but ultimately died from his injuries.
It is unclear why the accident happened. The Berkeley Police Department is conducting an ongoing investigation.
