SOUTH ORANGE, NJ – A man died in a single-motorcycle crash in South Orange, near Seton Hall University late last night, according to local news sources.
The crash occurred near the intersection of South Orange Avenue and Elm Court at about 11:40 p.m. when the victim, Maplewood man Danny Ives, crashed his motorcycle, a 2005 Ducati.
Ives was discovered lying in the roadway by emergency crews who performed resuscitative efforts. Despite this, he was declared dead at 12:15 a.m.
No other people were injured in the collision.
The accident remains under investigation at this time.
