PILESGROVE TOWNSHIP, NJ (SALEM COUNTY) – A man crossing the road in Salem County was killed after being hit by three drivers last night, according to NJ.com.
The accident occurred in Pilesgrove Township, on westbound Route 40, at about 7:50 p.m., when 51-year-old Timothy Shipman crossed the road.
Shipman, a resident of Pilesgrove, was struck by a Nissan, a Hyundai, and then a Dodge pickup truck.
Shipman died as a result of the accident.
The 68-year-old driver of the Nissan sustained minor wounds in the collision. The other two drivers were not reported as hurt.
