According to Daily Voice, Matthew Wise crashed a 2003 Acura into the loading dock area of Hackensack University Medical Center shortly before 11 p.m. on Thursday. Police had stopped Wise, who quickly sped off, about six blocks away.
After crashing, Wise took a 4-pound bag of marijuana and got out of the car to run away.
Officers were able to arrest Wise at the scene, using pepper spray and a Taser, and was taken into the hospital for treatment.
Wise, who has a ten-year-long criminal history that includes various offenses, was charged with resisting arrest and drug-related offenses.
