HOBOKEN, NJ – A man has been charged with driving while intoxicated after a Wednesday morning accident, according to the Hudson County View.
The accident happened at about 7:24 p.m. in the 700 block of Park Avenue when a man had struck a parked car. Officers reported to the scene and found Robert Johnson, 58, whose behavior suggested he was not sober.
During the investigation, police found a second parked vehicle about a block away that sustained damaged that has been attributed to Johnson.
Johnson’s charges, in addition to DWI, include leaving the scene of an accident, failure to exhibit driver’s license and insurance card, and possession of prescription legend drugs.
No one was injured in the incident.
