ESSEX COUNTY, NJ – A man was charged with driving while intoxicated after crashing into a parked vehicle in Nutley Township last Thursday.
According to a local news report, a 50-year-old Belleville man was arrested after he left the scene of the accident at the corner of Centre Avenue and Bloomfield Avenue on Thursday, January 21. He had crashed into an unoccupied parked car and then fled in a heavily damaged car.
Thankfully, no one was injured.
The man was charged with leaving the scene of an accident, driving while intoxicated, careless driving, and drug-related charges before being released.
