JERSEY CITY, NJ – A man is under arrest in connection with a recent crash in Jersey City that left another man seriously injured, hudsonreporter.com reported.

This is an update to a previous story.

54-year-old Ramon Quinones of Bayonne is charged with causing serious bodily injury while driving with a suspended license. The charge stems from an accident at about 6:30 a.m. June 4  at the intersection of Route 185 and Route 440.

Authorities say Quinones was driving a Toyota Celica southbound on Route 185 when his vehicle struck a Honda Accord being driven on Route 440. The driver of the Accord, a 34-year-old Bayonne man, was taken to the Jersey City Medical Center with serious injuries. Quinones was treated and released with a minor injury.

Quinones turned himself in to the Hudson County Regional Collision Investigation Unit on June 12, authorities said.
