LIBERTY TOWNSHIP, NJ (WARREN COUNTY) – A man was airlifted to the hospital yesterday after his SUV erupted into flames from a crash in Warren County.
According to NJ.com, the accident happened around 3 p.m. on Route 46 East, near milepost 13, when the driver of a Toyota RAV4 collided with a guardrail. The SUV then burst into flames, seriously injuring the driver, 37-year-old Hackettstown man Robert Buskirk.
Buskirk managed to escape the wreckage and was airlifted into the hospital for the treatment of serious injuries.
His current condition is unknown.
Authorities continue to investigate the crash at this time.
