MOUNT OLIVE, NJ – Drivers faced delays on Interstate 80 in Morris County Wednesday afternoon due to emergency construction work, according to 511nj.org.
The work was taking place on I-80 eastbound east of Exit 26 – US 46 in Mount Olive Township. Crews performed emergency bridge joint repairs.
Two of three eastbound lanes were shut down throughout the afternoon for the repairs. Drivers were advised to use caution, slow down and expect delays, the New Jersey Department of Transportation said.
The lanes were expected to be closed until 6 p.m. Wednesday.
