UPPER FREEHOLD TOWNSHIP, NJ – A crash investigation and a vehicle fire caused extended delays in Upper Freehold Township on Wednesday morning.
According to the New Jersey traffic incident tracker, the crash scene was on Interstate 195 eastbound near Exit 11 for County Road 524 at about 8:45 a.m.
Details on the crash being investigated, and if the vehicle fire was a result of that incident, have not been released. At this time, no injuries have been reported.
The right travel lane and right shoulder were both closed causing delays of 15 to 20 minutes.
Drivers were asked to use caution in the area.
