Intoxicated Man Hits Parked Car, Attempts to Flee

RIVERSIDE, NJ – A man was charged with driving while intoxicated, hitting a parked car, and attempting to elude police on May 13, according to Burlington County Times.

Simon Geovany Mejia Zuniga, 26, was seen driving on Taylor Street at around 6:40 p.m. when he struck a parked car and drove away.

An officer pursued Zuniga as he sped off, refusing to pull over for several blocks.

Zuniga was charged with a DWI, driving while unlicensed, and a hit-and-run.

He is currently being held in Burlington Jail.
