FRANKLIN LAKES, NJ – Police say a Wanaque driver was driving under the influence when he rear-ended another vehicle on Route 208 on Tuesday, the Daily Voice reports.
According to police, a 2016 Honda driven by Deivy Montalvo raced up on the first driver’s 2019 Jeep Cherokee so fast that he was unable to move out of the way, resulting in a collision.
An investigation by Sgt. Donald Wilson and Officer David Blum led to Montalvo’s arrest for assault by an auto and DWI.
The driver of the Jeep was not seriously injured.
