RAMSEY, NJ- A two-vehicle crash caused major damage and needed the assistance of multiple ambulances on Route 17 in Ramsey on Saturday evening, according to local media sources.
The accident occurred in the southbound lanes of Route 17 near the Franklin Turnpike. Both vehicles were heavily damaged and all lanes of traffic were closed immediately following the incident. However, once all victims and one of the vehicles were cleared, officials opened one lane of traffic.
Multiple ambulances were required to help transport the victims.
