ESSEX COUNTY, NJ – Firefighters extricated an injured woman from her crashed vehicle after an accident in Irvington Township on Monday morning.
According to RLS Media, the accident happened in the 400 block of 14th Street at about 1:50 a.m.
Responders from Newark arrived on the scene just across the border in Irvington where the woman was trapped inside her car.
After she was freed, medics transported her to University Hospital. She was treated for injuries that were not considered life-threatening.
An investigation is underway.
