PEMBERTON TOWNSHIP, NJ – The identity of the victim of a fatal car accident in Brown Mills on Saturday night has been identified by police.
According to Nj.com, the victim died in a single-vehicle crash when his 2004 Buick Rendezvous left the road in the 400 block of Lakehurst Road. The vehicle struck a tree, which then partially toppled over on the car.
The driver, identified as 31-year-old Donte Boyer II, was pronounced dead at the scene. He was the only person in the car and he was not wearing a seatbelt when the accident happened.
The cause of the accident remains unclear and an investigation is ongoing.
