CAMDEN COUNTY, NJ – A car accident on Interstate 295 caused extended delays on Thursday afternoon, according to the New Jersey traffic incident tracker.
The accident was reported at bout 1:45 p.m. in the northbound travel lanes near Exit 29 in Barrington.
The two right lanes were closed between US 30 in Barrington and Exit 30 for Warwick Road in Lawnside. Drivers were still experiencing a delay of 15-20 minutes more than an hour after the crash.
Later in the afternoon, the right shoulder remained closed near Exit 29 due to the incident.
