ESSEX COUNTY, NJ – The authorities have been searching for a hit-and-run driver who struck two cars with his stolen vehicle and fled in Newark on Sunday morning.
According to RLS Media, the small black SUV—a 4-door Hyundai Tuscan–struck a car in the 400 block of Mount Prospect Street at about 1:35 a.m. The driver fled. A second vehicle was hit near the intersection of Park Avenue and 11th Street.
No one was seriously hurt.
The license plate of the vehicle, which was carjacked, is “QMAV92.” Police are asking anyone with knowledge about the accidents or vehicle to contact them.
