UNION COUNTY, NJ – A hit-and-run driver left the scene of a car accident that left at least one person injured in Linden on Monday evening.
According to RLS Media, two cars crashed near the intersection of East Edgar Road and South Wood Avenue at about 8:30 p.m. One of the vehicles was found against a utility pole in the area, while the other was reported to have left the scene.
Officials attended to injuries at the scene. It is unclear how many occupants were in the crashed car.
Police are also investigating to determine the cause of the crash and searching for the driver who remains at large.
