Hit-and-run crash in Hamilton Township leaves 1 injured

HAMILTON TOWNSHIP, NJ- A teenager was injured in a hit-and-run pedestrian collision on Route 33 in Hamilton Township early Sunday, according to local media sources.

At approximately 2:17am, the teen was struck by a dark-colored Ford Mustang heading west on Route 33, by Weston Avenue. The vehicle fled the scene of the accident shortly after.

The victim was transported by officials to Capital Health Hospital with serious injuries.

We will monitor for further information. The accident is still under investigation.
